TandemMoulds have two parting levels which alternately open. While the machine opens to demould one level, the other is reliably held closed by an ingenious “CLS” Compact Locking System. This eliminates the “dead time” on the machine and allows for higher machine output.

The “CLS” locks are designed to be used on a wide range of machine sizes from 35 tons up to 3500 tons. Most Worldwide established machine manufacturer’s machines can run the Tandem process with a software upgrade. Having independent process control with each mold allows you to produce two complete different part weights and geometry.
